| "PJ" Update April 16, 2000!! PJ has been rescued and is in a good home, beginning his rehabilitation under a veterinarian's watchful guidance. PJ's rescue angel is "Shannon"!! She is an inspiration to me and so many others, she DID what needed to be done. Her heart said, "Help this horse!" and that's what she did. | Photo...right: This is the same horse when he was discovered years later in a neglectful home. Some of the horses on this property were being fed. This once lovely stallion stood by every day watching other horses eating their regular meals, as he lost more weight day by day. A neglectful owner can turn a blind eye to a horse starving in their front yard. If you know of a neglected animal, please call your local authorities, and keep calling until help arrives. |
